On May 29, the Orquesta Filarmónica del Café, a formative process attached to the Culture area of Comfamiliar Risaralda and the Fundación Cafeteritos, was responsible for opening the concert of the 50th edition of the Mono Núñez Festival, one of the most important events of Colombian Andean music in the country.
On this occasion, more than 60 musicians from the orchestra, hailing from different municipalities in the Coffee Cultural Landscape and Valle del Cauca, accompanied renowned artists such as María Isabel Saavedra, Katie James, María Mulata, and Carlos Grijalva at the emblematic Teatro Municipal Enrique Buenaventura in Cali.
A unique concert where hundreds of people gathered to celebrate the richness and diversity of Colombian music, which also featured the participation of the ensemble Sincopa2, winners of the 2023 Gran Premio Mono Núñez Instrumental.
